Architectural Review Committee
The purpose of the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) is to ensure that all changes that HOA members wish to make to their home or property continues to promote high value and appeal for the entire neighborhood.

do this BEFORE you make any investment:

READ THE RULES. Make sure that what you wish to do is allowed in the Canterbury Covenant, Bylaws and Prohibited Materials Listing. Also check for key Lees Summit information

REQUEST ARC REVIEW. Bring all your plans, drawings, blueprints and ideas to the ARC for their review and approval. Make sure you have all your supporting documents available. Otherwise, the ARC may require you to resubmit your request.

WAIT FOR THE ARC RESPONSE. There is risk if you begin a project without approval. Read the Canterbury Covenant to understand possible penalties. The ARC will provide you a response as soon as possible.

TO YOUR HOME that materially alters its external visual presentation
(for example: garage additions or expansions, room additions,paint color changes, satellite dish placement, etc.);

AROUND YOUR HOME that materially alters the external visual presentation of the Lot
(for example: fencing, walkways, walls, deck or patio creation / expansion, sheds, greenhouses, swimming pools, etc.);

TO YOUR PROPERTY that alters the natural flow of waters across or within the Lot; or
-
TO YOUR YARD that materially deviates from the common external visual presentation of the landscapes within Canterbury.
